The small/large squad split will not apply unless there are sufficient entries to justify this. This will be determined once entries have been received for the event.

Small Teams with 5 - 10 Team Members

Juvenile: 8 Years & Under

Junior: 9 - 12 Years

Senior: 13 Years & Over

Time Limit: 3 minutes max.

OR

Large Teams with 11+ Team Members

Juvenile: 8 Years & Under

Junior: 9 - 12 Years

Senior: 13 Years & Over

Time Limit: 3 minutes max.

• Music may be taken from stage shows but all choreography must be original. Vocal music may be used in the ballet, tap and modern/jazz section only, but the group must not sing or mime to the music. Vocal music must not be used for the song & dance section.

• Music must be sent by the entry deadline. CDs, MP3 or electronic formats are acceptable.

• Previous winning choreography may not be performed.

• Shoes must be worn at all times.

• Hand held props may be used (e.g. Fans, Ribbons etc.) but anything larger or that has to stand on the stage may not be used.

• No lifts are permitted.

• All dancers performing must be of amateur status and have taken a UKAdance exam in the previous 12 months with their current school.
